Joining Carter in the contest, SRH FMX rider Gabriel Villegas also put on a great performance. Be on the lookout for much more from both of these pros as they go full throttle to the top!

Quoted from X-Pilots——————————-
Tijuana, Baja California .- The Stadium Xoloitzscuintles Tijuana is a classic scenario for XPilots by Monster Energy, Saturday night struck a resonant chord with the 14,000 spectators in the stands who were able to attend 4 hours of music, jumping, stunts, and all the adrenaline that is released in a competition of Freestyle Motocross.

During the first round the Mexican Johan Nungaray was the first to open the Mega Ramp, followed by the Rookie of the Year James Carter, who along with Taka Higashino were placed in the first and second place in the first round, while Jim Mc Neil stood in the third.

The second round was the pilot of Phoenix, Mcneil, who would have an advantage in getting landing tricks like “Kiss of Death” and “Backflip Cordoba” and a “Long Flip” on the Mega Ramp, where pilots fly more than 30 meters away, this allowed him to stand in second place after defeating Taka Higashino favorite Tijuana, which fell to third place.

The night ended when he announced the victory of James Carter who thanks to his skill might hold off Jim McNeil in the second, completing the podium Takayuki Higashino, who despite struggling to do a clean execution and show an incredible Double Hart Attack Flip was affected by his decision not to use the Mega Ramp, to avoid jeopardizing their participation in the X Games, the next stop on the tour, “Elevation” is scheduled for October 22 in Mexicali, turning then to Guadalajara November 11.
