This weekend Bri Chmel won the 2008 NWL National Wakesurf Championships for the second year in a row!
Check out the photos of Bri representing SRH.
Since signing with SRH, 18 year old Tyler has been on a roll.
First, surfing his way out of the trials and into the main event at the US Open in Huntington Beach.
He was then off to Teahupoo, to do a photo shoot with Mundo Rad magazine (Look for his interview coming next month). Tyler also met up with ESPN, they filmed him getting some heavy barrels and they also did an interview with him, (To be aired in Sept).
SRH is saddened by the passing of our MX family rider Tony Hart.
Tony passed away Saturday, after crashing on a Connecticut racetrack during a practice run, while practicing for Doug Henry’s New England Grand Prix, which took place Saturday night. Following the crash at Stafford Motor Speedway, 21-year-old Tony was airlifted to nearby Hartford Hospital and accompanied to the hospital by his father, Tom Hart.
Tony will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
In 1991 SRH was an event promotion company focused on promoting bands and concerts in the San Diego area. The same bands SRH promoted were also popular choices of surf film makers in the early ‘90s. Making tees and hats to promote SRH was a natural evolution for the SRH crew. Flash forward 17 years to 2008 and you’ll find SRH as a full-blown clothing company boasting a growing roster of professional athletes including big-wave charger Jamie Sterling, and many more across all of the action sports. Ryan White, co-founder of SRH, shares a little bit of the story.
The Dirt Alliance Tour will take place at the Perris Auto Speedway and will combine various forms of dirt sports and entertainment including s big-air truck jump, side x side pro race demo, prerunner/trophy truck track demo, live music, promo models & an exclusive diesel tug of war.
Come hang out with the SRH crew, see some great demos and bands!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Vault 350 in Long Beach last weekend and rocked at the SRH and Suburban Noize U.S. Open after party! The night started fast and ended loud, first on the Pricks, followed by Sprung Monkey, Buck-O-Nine and headlining Unwritten Law!
September 6th, Unwritten Law will be playing at the Wavehouse in San Diego. Talk about a wild time, loud fast music meets hard hitting wipeouts! This IS the event to end your summer.
SRH surf team member Travis Beckman worked it out in the water this weekend during the open. Not only did the SRH team blow up in the water, but also on the sand at this years Honda US Open held in Huntington Beach last weekend July 18-27.
Myles Richmond and fellow SRH team rider Taylor Sterner put on a clinic on how to pull no handed flips and huge tail whips.
