SRH Signs Big Wave Rider Jamie Sterling
Jamie Sterling who’s best known for charging huge pipe or pulling into death barrels at the world famous Teahupoo will now be representing SRH clothing. Surf team manager Justin Poston says, “He’s a perfect fit for us - how can we go wrong with a guy like Jamie. He’s very respected in the surfing world and he gets tons of coverage.” One of Jamie’s other sponsors is Red Bull, who sends him out to find the biggest waves to surf no matter how dangerous they are. One of the greatest things about Jamie is his work ethic. He lives in the most perfect place (Hawaii) and yet travels 10 months out of the year to gain editorial and video footage for his sponsors. Being at home in Hawaii for 2 months (November, December) and as part of the well known Pipeline Posse, it gives him the chance to go for the biggest and heaviest waves at Pipe. We expect a great year from Jamie - welcome to the family!

On April 19, Pala Skate Park held a grand opening demo. Pros from all over showed up to skate the fresh concrete and the 9 foot deep pool. SRH skater Shane Allen was the crowd favorite even with a broken foot he would run from the side of the pool launch in to the deep end come out and grind over the death box and end it with a huge front side air. The kids loved it they would run up for autographs, stickers anything they could get from him. Nathan Carvalho Makes PacSun USA Surf Team
Nathan was selected to compete in Hawaii for a slot on the team, but unfortunately right before the event Nathan fractured his ankle doing a floater at his home break on Kauai. Nathan never gave up though, and continued working and rehabbing his ankle. Then Nathan got the call that the USA surf team was going to have one more work out before the team goes to France for the World Junior Surfing Championship (May 24-June 1st). Nathan had to come to California and take 1 of the 2 spots that were open. SRH Surf Manager Justin Poston said, “I felt bad for the kid, he had to surf 7 heats back to back and finish top 2 in every heat.” Determined to make the team, Nathan did just that, showing his skills as he made every heat. Nathan’s now fired up and ready for France. For more on Nathan, visit his profile or check out surfingamerica.com.

Wes Agee headed out to Tucson Arizona for the IFMA Championships, taking the title of Best Whip. If you have ever seen Wes whip the bike, this win will come to no surprise to you! This is what the IFMA had to say about the event.
“Whip Contest was a no contest win for Wes Agee who is throwing down some of the sickest indoor whips I have ever seen. Wes also took the game of Moto Pig, using what else? A fat turndown whip that no one else could match.”
From the whole SRH Family, congratulations Wes!!!!!

SRH Support Rider Zay Solis after the Gold Cup
At 8 years old, SRH Rider Zay Solis has his little mind on one thing…WINNING!! We checked in with Zay and his parents last week, and this is what they had to say.
Zay got 2nd in his 50cc Age Group and 2nd in his 65 Class for the
first Gold Cup round. He did really well considering we had a ton
of bike problems, his water pump went out on his 50 during his super
pee wee race and his clutch bolt came loose. On his 65 his gearing
was skipping and he couldn’t keep it from shifting into neutral
and never let him shift past 3rd gear! It was a little scary when
he hit the jumps but, he was consistent enough to get two 2nds! Can’t
wait till the second round! He’s having a lot of fun.
Good luck Zay!!
